Picked up an alloy header tank on E-BAY from a UK seller and a new Bonrath induction pipe from a seller in Germany

If its chrome stainless or shiny and for a MK1 i want it (magpie springs to mind)

This is more or less the last few bits the list so far
Chrome rocker cover chrome fixing strips and stainless nuts
chrome alernator bracket and chrome bolts
chrome dizzy cover
chrome rad cover and stainless strip for the top of the rad panel
alloy strut caps
Alloy header tank
stainless battery cover
chrome fan belt cover
Samco coolant hoses
stainless bonnet lifters
polished water flange on front of head (still to fit)
will stick a photo up later of the complete engine bay
looking for chrome bonnet catch and a chrome or polished alternator i just keep checking e-bay each day and so far have been lucky to get what i have been looking for

any full bay pics?

Still some bits to do but more or less finished (unless some thing else shiny comes along)
may not be every ones taste but it suits the car and puts a smile on my face every time I lift the bonnet so what else matters.

I like the way it's going, would look a million times better if you gave the bay a good clean any painted the block and gearbox to just tidy them up.

thought the bay was pretty clean i have been round most of it with the gunk and a toothbrush, you should see the before photos.
yes the block and box would look good painted but to do it right i would want to drop them out and to be honest I have to draw a line some where but now you have got me thinking (no have to stop).
