got this yesterday it is a....... 91 1.8 8v scirocco gt2 with 87k on it was origanily uk car
planing on putting it bak on the road.it hasent benn on the road since 2006 and needs a service
body work is great it got a paint job in 2009 but the roof and bonnet need doing again.....

i fixed a few things so far
ie
aircon/fan moter wasent working is now
the hand brake was non existent
front wiper moter .....the back one is boloxed anyone have a spare?
changed the steering weel as the old one was to big
fixed the horn
freed up the front callipers and one back one
sorted out the exelorator cable

the brake pedel is sticking down when i press on it tried greesd it up but to no avail
i was told it could be the callipere or the servo so ill need to change them have ones
lined up just need to save the penny`s

also i t-cut the car and polished it

needs a good t cut bro. ill bring stuff home at the weekend

ill bring a spare wiper motor too off the golf and see if it will work....

cheers paddy that would be great and i dont think the moter will be the same as i goes through
the boot glass but bring it any way might be able to make 1 good one out of the 2

Iah she is ok looking Steve ... I did ask aiden he's got the cailipers and servo and that but he broke the rest of the car I'll just have to keep my
Eyes open for bits and bobs

if the doors werent opened so often it would have turned into a fish bowl (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

edit, if it doesnt have it, a mk3 weighted shifter rod makes a nice difference to the gears

ok its been a while since i updated this as i said it would be slow progress
i sorted the brakes new pads and discs to
got a set of bbs 15"
got a set of coilovers to and fitted them
and got some laminex to ive to put that on yet
heres 2 pics quallity not great will get better ones again

Looks great! Get the rz's resprayed with a darker silver and some 195 45's instead. Were those Mark Kennelly's wheels?

Cleaned up well. Tidy looking example. Actually it sits well on bbs as it is so I wouldn't go too crazy on the lowering :-)
How does it handle at the moment?

before it handeled like a boat but with the coilys in it makes a huge diffrence it handles great now

top and bottom strut braces would make a big difference as well.
