Hi all, i've jst after gettin myself a 07 vrs (in time for fermoy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) and i've only 2 little things annoyin me. As far as i can tell i've got a oem MFD2 sat nav intergrated with maxidot. There's a cable in the boot that has a part num for the Phatbox too.
My problem is that the AUX input isn't working which sucks cause changing cd's means no sat nav. How can i tell if its factory fitted or otherwise before i pull the whole thing out and do what they say here. it shows how i might need to change around a few wires in the connector.
Second is the cruise control isn't working either but the dealer said it might just be a faulty brake switch.
Thoughts or better still help!!

I've done some research an found that the AUX is wired in wrong in a lot of mfd2's

Take a quick look at the thread i've done a while back.

Handy thing about this is, when you turn the phone on loudspeaker during a call, it's a handsfree through the speakers

Hope this helps

I got it fixed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . It was the AUX wires were in the blue connection 3B7 035 447 A and should be in a green connection 3B7 035 447 B but if you look closely at the blue, all ya have to do is cut out the piece that sticks up stopping it going into the other side. easier than buyin the correct 12pin connection and re-wiring it. Summer choones now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
