Hi Guys,
Anyone know the recommended interval for a timing belt change on a C5?
2004 reg.

Many thanks.

I think that I read / heard somewhere before that Citroen recommend 100,000 or ten years for the HDI, which to me seems like a very very long time!

I'm sure one of the more qualified mechanics will be along to confirm the right time to change

Just to confirm Citroen Recommend 100,000 miles for the 2.0 hdi, but personally I would recommend changing at 80,000.
Most petrol c5's are recommended by Citroen to be changed at 80,000 miles but again I would recommend doing around 70,000 miles. Also be sure to change fan belt regularly if it's diesel because Citroen fan belts have a habit of getting caught around the crank pulley causing timing belt failure.
