Here's a Ferrari Challenge Stradale. I haven't heard an engine like this at my workshop ever. Magnificent! There were only around 112 or so made in RHD for the UK market and a lot of them have been written off at this stage. So this is quite a limited edition model with many enhancements to make it a much different driving experience to the experienced driver. (I wouldn't know anything about that being a humble detailer though!)

So, for the ultimate car I drew up a detailing plan using the very best, most protective products. Essentially, it is the Ultimate Protection Detail.

Here was the product line-up for prepping the vehicle.
Paint -
Maxolen Wax Free Shampoo
Maxolen Sticky Stuff & Tar Remover
CarPro Clay Bar
Maxolen Wheel Cleaner
Maxolen Tyre & Rubber Prep

Engine Bay
Maxolen Super All Purpose Cleaner

Paint Correction
CarPro Fixer
CarPro Eraser

Protection
Paint - PolishAngel Cosmic GlassCoat in Yellow Masterbatch
Paint - PolishAngel Famous
Wheels - CarPro CQuartz DLUX
Glass - CarPro CQuartz Finest
Engine (Plastic, Metal, Painted, Carbon Fibre & Textured Surfaces) CQuartz DLUX (first coat)
Engine (Metal, Painted, Carbon Fibre & Textured Surfaces) CQuartz Finest (second coat)
Plastic & Rubber Trim/ Window Seals - CQuartz DLUX

Interior
Leather - Cleaned with Dr Leather, Sealed with Wolf's Chemicals Hyde-rophobe
Carbon Fibre & hard surfaces - CarPro CQuartz Finest

The car arrived on the afternoon of the day before the scheduled detail. I was busy removing a severe keying along the wing of a new Range Rover Evoque when it arrived. The RR was coated in CQuartz when it was brand new so the vandalism was not as bad as they had intended thanks to the tough coating. When the RR left, I decided to make a start on the engine bay of the Ferrari.

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01044.jpg)

CQuartz Finest laid down on all hard non-porous surfaces

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01045.jpg)
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01047.jpg)

Then CQuartz DLUX put on the same surfaces and also the plastics and textured surfaces as well.

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01048.jpg)

It really made the red of the boxes much deeper when applied.

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01055.jpg)

The car wasn't too dirty. Just some dirt in places and loads of insect-splatter on the front (I guess the car might have been going fast at some point recently!!)

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01056.jpg)

Maxolen Wax Free Shampoo with a CarPro Merino WashMitt through the Tornador Foam Cannon

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01058.jpg)

Towel Dried and Blow-Dried!

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01061.jpg)

When I got her back inside, I decided it was a perfect time to get underneath with the steam cleaner to get rid of any murk under there.
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01065.jpg)
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01066.jpg)

Here's a glimpse of the swirls waiting for me the next morning....

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS0106.jpg)

And further inspection revealed the remnants of the factory treatment - sanding marks on the bonnet, wings and roof!

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01067.jpg)
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01071.jpg)

Here's a small 50/50 shot...

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01069.jpg)

At the end of the short paint correction and jewelling process, PolishAngel Cosmic Glasscoat in Yellow Masterbatch was applied to the paint. This is a ceramic lacquer made with Titanium and Silicium Oxide with a yellow pigment in it so there is both an enhancement of gloss and depth, and also an enrichment of the colour. (I was a little sceptical of the yellow tint, but it worked beautifully. Even the owner commented on the richness of the colour at collection).

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01072.jpg)

They also do an Energy Drink... time for Taurine!!

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01074.jpg)

While the Cosmic cured, I set about a few other tasks... rubber seals treated with Maxolen Tyre and Rubber Prep and sealed with CQuartz DLUX

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01079.jpg)
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01080.jpg)

CQuartz DLUX applied to wheels. I lay down on the carpet and reached into the back around the wheels where I couldn't get through the spokes. I had to roll the car forward a couple of times to make sure!

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01081.jpg)
(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01082.jpg)

After two coats of Cosmic (and lots of other tasks in between) it was time for two coats of Famous.

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS01083.jpg)

The leather was cleaned up with the fantastic Dr Leather....

(IMG:http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/BrianXCars/Challenge%20Stradale/FCS0109.jpg)

And sealed with Wolf's Hide-Rophobe

Sorry for the delay getting back to you! I missed the reply.

Days? I wish! Got the car in on Thursday at 4, finished it the following evening. It was about 14 or 15 hours intensive detailing.

@Brian, I was thinking of stocking the range of Wolf's products and I may yet in the future but for now, I will be just applying the nano sealants like the Leather product and the HardBody Super Nano Paint Coating.
