But first the bad news. Came home last night, turned into my driveway and stopped at the gate to pick up my post. only to find an extremely large brown horse standing halfway up my drive. the horse bolted, ran toward the car, misjudged it and went smack straight into the passenger door. door is all ruined now. hopefully the farmer who owns the escaped horse is willing to sort out my damage on a car i'd only had three days.

Ah no! Thats a balls Sam! Legally, he has to cover you as it was his horse. If he has public liabillity insurance, which he should have, that will cover it, but if he doesn't, then it'll be the courts if he doesn't co-opperate. Have you been on to him yet?
When for a spin in this yesterday. Lovely bus man. Pretty jealous if I may say so! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Cant wait to see it progress! -------------------- ![]() BAM!!!!! |

Thats a perfect base for a good project.. you should drop it and put a set of rotiforms on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) anyway wil keep an eye on this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

First mechanical job!
coming home this afternoon, down the coast road by Dunmore, engine hesitated and stuttered, lost power. idling funny then died. Managed start her again idling funny. was able drive off and she gradually came back to full health. naturally being a diesel my first thought was fuel. my instincts were correct. took off the fuel filter canister and there was water in the fuel and the first-day filter was black with shit! so cleaned the filter as a temporary fix and emptied the canister. primed and away we go. back to normal apart from a litre of fuel lost. -------------------- |

Shampooed the carpets today, brought them up like new! and got a new set of plastic number plates, hate the metal ones! Need a new MAF as this one is failing and giving trouble.
