alrite lads posting this for a friend he's looking to get performance coil's for his 96 audi 1.8t i think his engine code is(aeb) but am not 100% sure. he's not looking to spend mad money as he seen one's for $500 per set an was a bit shocked by the price im sure alot cheaper one's can be found. if anyone has any prices or links were these can be found it would be a great help.
he had a miss fire from one of the coils an was goin to upgrade them all for performance ones. i wasnt aware that there would be no gains from performance ones so is he just better off geting vw ones

Best bet is to replace all 4 with genuine vw coil packs.
